Here we are at Podcast No. 6! This time round we are focusing on UK soul, and divided the show into two parts. This is partly because we have gone back to the foundational roots of UK soul bands starting in the mid-late 1970's, with the likes of Average White Band, through to mid-late 1980's with bands such as Total Contrast and the legendary Loose Ends. To showcase moments from this developmental era takes at the least a whole show...!

Part Two will explore the late 80's, 90's and beyond, where Brit-based black music finds its own definitive flavours. Meanwhile we take you to the origins of the UK soul sound...

We hope you enjoy our latest instalment, and please like, subscribe and let us know what you think!

Hey Groovadelic peeps! This podcast we focus on the inimitable Earth, Wind and Fire, featuring a special show produced exclusively for Groovadelica by our main man Darren Simpson/aka Boston Rodriguez. Darren gets stuck into exploring the roots of these musical legends and what makes them one of the greatest groups of all time.

A band very close to our hearts, they have been responsible for producing some of the most heavyweight, game-changing music in pop music history…. and so it is with great joy that we dip into the EWF discography to share some our favourite classic and lesser-known tracks, cover versions by notable artists and re-edits - plus some moving and entertaining tributes from industry entertainers.

We hope you enjoy our latest instalment, and please like, subscribe and let us know what you think!
